Yes. Upgrades apply instantly and are prorated, so you only pay the difference for the rest of the cycle. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle so you keep what you paid for.

Plans are billed monthly (domains yearly) and renew automatically until you cancel. As a consumer you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal on new orders, which you can exercise from the panel or via the cancellation form - see the withdrawal section of our Terms. Beyond that we also handle goodwill refunds case by case and won't leave you stuck with a server that never worked.

All major credit and debit cards, plus SEPA direct debit for customers in the EU. Payments are processed securely through Stripe - we never see your card details.

Our infrastructure runs in the EU, in Germany. That means low latency for European users and your data stays under EU and German data-protection law.

Yes, at no extra cost - there's no add-on to buy and nothing to configure. Most of our IP ranges already sit behind DDoS protection, and we're rolling it out to the remaining ones. Ask support if you want to confirm coverage for your service.

Apps support snapshot and Postgres backups you can trigger and restore from the panel. For VMs and LXC we recommend keeping your own backups too - you stay in control of your data.
