Filelens privacy policy

This policy covers Filelens only. Filelens is operated by Headpat Space. Who we are, how to reach us and your rights are described in our general privacy policy.

Filelens is a macOS app by Headpat Space for viewing and converting die-line and artwork files. The short version: Filelens does not collect, store or share any personal data.
What Filelens does with your files
- Files you open are read and displayed on your Mac only.
- Nothing you open is uploaded, transmitted or sent to Headpat Space or to anyone else.
- Filelens keeps no copy of your files. When you close a window, the file is gone from the app's memory.
- Exported files (PDF, SVG, WebP) are written only to the location you choose.
What Filelens does not do
- It makes no network connections. It works fully offline.
- It contains no analytics, tracking, advertising or third-party SDKs that collect data.
- It has no accounts, sign-in or registration.
- It does not access your contacts, location, camera, microphone or photos.
What is stored on your Mac
Filelens saves two preferences locally on your Mac: your chosen language and your chosen appearance (light, dark or system). macOS may also remember window positions. These settings never leave your device and are removed when you delete the app and its data.
File access
Filelens runs in the macOS App Sandbox. It can only read files you explicitly open, drop onto its window or open with it from Finder, and it can only write files where you choose to save them.
Links
The app contains links to this policy and to the Headpat Space website. They open in your web browser. Visiting those pages is covered by the privacy policy of the website, not by this one.
Apple
If you get Filelens from the Mac App Store, Apple processes your purchase and download under Apple's privacy policy. If you have agreed to share diagnostics with app developers in macOS settings, Apple may provide Headpat Space with anonymous crash and usage statistics. Headpat Space cannot identify you from them.
Children
Filelens collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
