Invite a friend and earn credit
Where your referral link is, what the person you invite sees, when the 10 euro credit is paid to both of you, and how it is used on your invoices.
Know someone who could use a managed app, a database or a game server? Send them your referral link. When they make their first purchase, you both get credit on your account. Here is how it works, what counts and where the credit goes.
Where your link is
Sign in to the panel, open Billing and find the card Refer a friend. It shows Your referral link with a Copy button, how many people have Signed up with it and how many have Made a purchase, and the Credit earned so far.
The link looks like https://panel.headpat.space/register?ref=YOURCODE. The code is yours for good; share the link wherever you like, in a message, a blog post or a Discord server.
What the person you invite sees
They open your link and create an account as usual. The registration remembers the code, so the only difference is a note on their Billing page afterwards: You joined with code YOURCODE. Your welcome credit arrives after your first purchase.
When the credit is paid
Both of you receive €10 of credit when the invited account pays the first invoice of a subscription, an app, a database, a server, any recurring service, and that invoice is for at least €3. That payment is the trigger; it happens once per invited account, and later invoices do not pay out again. The credit appears on both Billing pages within a few minutes of the payment, with a line in the referral card.
The rules, in short:
- The first paid subscription invoice of the invited account counts, once.
- It must be at least €3.
- The invited account must be new: the link has to be used when the account is created, or within 14 days of it.
- You cannot invite yourself, and one account can use one code.
How the credit is used
Credit is held on your account as a balance and is taken off your next invoices automatically, whatever they are for, until it is used up. You do not have to do anything; the next invoice simply shows the deduction. The Billing page shows the balance remaining under Credit on your account right now.
Credit is not paid out in cash; it stays on your account until invoices have used it up.
Good to know
- The counters on the referral card tell you whether a sign-up was recorded and whether it has made its first purchase yet.
