About Matomo
Matomo gives you visits, sources, funnels and goals in a dashboard that will look familiar, with one difference: the raw data is in your database and nobody else gets a copy. No sampling, no aggregation you did not ask for.
That also makes the legal side simpler - with tracking on your own domain and data in Germany, Matomo can be run without a cookie banner in most setups.
